Fine Clothes

Set against the backdrop of an ancient palace, the film tells a series of secrets and stories in the palace. The women are either imperial concubines or palace maids, their costumes are gorgeous and complex, their expressions are either melancholy or mysterious, and they are fascinating. Against the backdrop of the magnificent palace, they are either whispering and plotting, or thinking alone, and every look seems to hide an unknown secret.

About the Author

Born in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province in 1985. Lives and works in Beijing and Los Angeles. Independent animation director, his creations also involve video, painting, installation and live music performance. Graduated from the animation major of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University in 2007, and obtained a master's degree in information art from the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University in 2009.
