"The first snow" is a collection of ancient costume photography full of mythology, placing women in various legends and mythological stories. They may be transformed into fairies, or play the role of enchanting fox fairies, or become brave female warriors. Each photo is a vivid picture of legends, leading the viewer into a fantastic and beautiful ancient world.
About the Author
Born in 1989. Lives and works in Beijing. Graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor's degree in painting in 2012 and from the Dutch Art Institute (DAI) with a master's degree in 2016. Hu Wei's works involve a variety of media, trying to establish a connection between external reality and "artistic narrative", focusing on technology and people.
